JNLED: a Hong Kong LED lighting manufacturer since 2010

JNLED is a Hong Kong LED lighting manufacturer founded in 2010. We build and supply marine, industrial and commercial fittings: searchlights, navigation lights, floodlights, high bay, high mast, ATEX explosion-proof luminaires and LED strip. Our office sits across the border from the factories in South China that produce our lines, so specification and tooling decisions are made in person. The catalogue now runs to 3,754 published products, and specifications are published per product across the catalogue: power, lumens, efficacy, IP rating, beam angle, CCT and voltage, so you can specify from data rather than from a brochure.

JNLED works on one thing: LED lighting. We supply industrial, commercial and marine projects, with specialised ranges for port lighting and for vessels of many types.

New standard lines usually start as a customer’s special. If the fitting does not exist in the range, we tool it, and it stays in the range afterwards. We take OEM projects and we customise standard products to a project’s dimensions and specification.

We also handle the freight side rather than leaving it to you. That includes customs clearance and warehousing, so goods clear and land where the project needs them.

Hong Kong puts us alongside the manufacturing base in South China. We work in person with the factories in Shenzhen that produce our fittings, and that proximity is what makes close collaboration on product development practical.

Specification decisions get made with the tooling in front of us. A dimensional change, a different driver or a new optic is discussed face to face with the people who will build it.

We own the moulds on key lines, including the marine searchlights. We buy chips, drivers and coatings direct from the suppliers who make them, so nothing in the bill of materials is opaque to us. When you ask what is inside a fitting, you get the component name, not a category.
