Architectural LED lighting for hotels and interiors

In a hotel lobby or an architectural interior, nobody is meant to look at the fitting. They look at the line of light, the wash on the wall, the edge of the cove. We supply LED strip, Neon-Flex, COB strip and aluminium profile for that kind of detailing, with drivers to run it. LED strips and profiles is our largest category at 1,812 products, including 1,172 Neon-Flex, 43 COB strip and 23 RGBW strip. Ingress protection runs from IP65 to IP68 across the catalogue, rated life runs from 50,000 to 100,000 hours, and the fittings are built around LEDs from Philips Lumileds and Nichia with Mean Well drivers. Send us the detail drawing, the run lengths and the CCT you are working to, and we specify against it.

What we supply for hotel and architectural schemes

Linear detailing comes from LED strips and profiles, 1,812 products in total. Within that category, Neon-Flex runs to 1,172 products for continuous linear detail inside and out, COB strip to 43 products, and RGBW strip to 23 products where the brief calls for colour and a usable white from the same run. Aluminium profile is specified alongside the strip so the extrusion, the diffuser and the strip are handled as one item against your section drawing.

Gear comes from drivers and controls, a separate category of 5 products, built around Mean Well drivers. For facade wash and exterior accent the wider catalogue holds 1,482 LED flood lights, including 156 modular floodlights.

Specifications are published per product across the catalogue — power, lumens, efficacy in lm/W, IP rating, beam angle, CCT, IK rating, voltage and warranty, where these are published for the line — so the design team can check a fitting against the specification before enquiring. Anything customised or built to your detail is specified against your drawing, so confirm those figures with us.

What an architectural scheme asks of the fitting

Seven things shape how we specify lighting for a hotel or an architectural interior.

01
The fitting disappears into the detail
A cove, a reveal or a slot works when the source is hidden and only the light shows. We supply strip and profile together, so the extrusion, the diffuser and the strip suit the section rather than being reconciled on site. Send us the detail drawing and we specify to it.
02
One CCT across the whole scheme
CCT is published per product, so a lobby, a corridor and a guest room can be held to the same figure on paper before anything is ordered. Tell us the CCT you are working to and the areas it has to cover, and we specify against it across the run.
03
Dimming that suits the control system
Dimming behaviour is set by the gear, not by the strip. Tell us the control system and the dimming method the scheme calls for, and we confirm what the driver does before you commit. Drivers and controls are listed as their own category.
04
Continuous runs, not a row of points
Where a cove, a handrail or a facade line has to read as one line of light, the format matters more than the output. Neon-Flex, 1,172 products, and COB strip, 43 products, are the two formats we carry for that detailing. Tell us the run length and the viewing distance and we specify against them.
05
Gear that fits the void you have
The strip is the easy part. Remote gear has to fit the ceiling void, the joinery or the riser, and stay accessible when it needs attention. Tell us the void depth and the access arrangement, and we confirm driver dimensions as part of the specification.
06
Long intervals between changes
Rated life is 50,000 to 100,000 hours, depending on product. In an atrium cove or a facade run, every replacement means access equipment and an area taken out of use, so the interval matters more than the unit price.
07
Energy the operator can see on the bill
LED replacement cuts lighting energy by up to 70% against the traditional lighting replaced. Efficacy runs up to around 100 lm/W, quoted per product, so the saving can be sized before the client commits.

Where these fittings go

Lobbies and atria
Cove, slot and reveal lighting at height, plus reception and feature detailing. Rated life of 50,000 to 100,000 hours matters most here, because a lamp change means access equipment.
Guest rooms and corridors
Headboard, mirror, wardrobe and skirting detail, and continuous corridor coves. Tell us the CCT and the run lengths and we specify to the drawing.
Restaurants and bars
Under-bar, shelf and joinery lighting, and coves over seating. Dimming is set by the driver, so confirm the method with us as part of the specification.
Coves, reveals and joinery
Aluminium profile and strip specified as one item against your section. LED strips and profiles is our largest category, at 1,812 products.
Facades and exteriors
Neon-Flex for linear facade detail, 1,172 products. For wash and accent from a distance, the catalogue also holds 1,482 LED flood lights, including 156 modular floodlights.
Wet and humid areas
Ingress protection runs from IP65 to IP68 across the catalogue. We select the rating per position rather than applying one figure across the building.

Custom profiles, custom lengths and OEM work

JNLED was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Hong Kong, close to the factories in South China we work with, which allows close collaboration on product development. We hold our own moulds on key product lines and buy direct from the chip, driver and coating suppliers.

That is what makes customisation practical on an architectural order rather than a catalogue-only exercise. We take on OEM projects and a high level of customisation. If the detail needs a profile, a length or a build the catalogue does not already list, send us the drawing and we will tell you what we can do against it.

Simulation, costing and delivery support

Before you commit, we produce light-simulation reports for the space in question and cost-saving calculations against the existing installation. That gives the design team something to present and the operator a figure to judge it by.

After the order, we cover project design, production, logistics including customs clearance and warehousing, and installation support, and we ship worldwide. Warranty is published per product, where it is stated for the line.

Send us the scheme

Give us the space, the detail drawing and the CCT and lux you are working to, and we come back with a specification, a simulation and a price. Reflected ceiling plans or a lighting schedule speed this up, but they are not required to start.
